A One-Day Workshop for Women Navigating the Impact of Relapse
Saturday, November 14 | 9:00 AM–3:00 PM Eastern
Led by Lyschel Burket Cost: $150
When relapse happens, it can leave you feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, and unsure of what to do next. You may find yourself asking: What do I need? What boundaries are needed? Who can support me? How do I respond if it happens again?
You are worth having a plan.
Join us for this one-day, interactive workshop designed to help you slow down, identify what you need, and begin developing a Relapse Plan that is specific to you and your circumstances. A Relapse Plan is not about controlling someone else’s choices—it is about thinking ahead, identifying your needs, establishing appropriate boundaries, recognizing safe sources of support, and knowing how you can respond when your sense of safety or stability is disrupted.
Throughout the day, Lyschel will guide you through key areas of your plan, including:
- Identifying your needs—physical, emotional, relational, spiritual, financial, home, and child-related needs
- Understanding the difference between a Relapse Plan and a Safety Plan
- Considering boundaries and responsive actions
- Identifying safe and supportive people in your life
- Building in self-care and grounding
- Thinking through how you will respond if relapse occurs
- Re-establishing safety and stability
- Grounding your plan in God’s promises and your healing journey
You Won’t Do This Alone
This workshop includes breakout sessions throughout the day, giving you space to talk with other women who are working through similar questions and developing their own plans. Each small group breakout session will be facilitated by an APSATS coach, so you will also have opportunities to ask questions, process what you’re learning, and receive support as you work through your plan.
You don’t need to have all the answers before you come. This is a space to pause, process, and begin putting words to what you need.
By the end of the day, you’ll have spent intentional time thinking through the pieces of a plan that can help you respond with greater clarity and preparedness when your sense of safety or stability is disrupted.
You are worth having a plan and thinking through these things.
