Fall Retreat- TEAM- 2024 – Are you in?

The Fall 2024 Redeemed Hope Retreat is open for team members to sign up to serve! There are multiple ways to be involved with the retreat. If you have already emailed us to say, “I’m in”, please ALSO fill out the form below for an official count. We have more participants this fall, so we need a larger team. If you haven’t responded yet, please do so below.

On-Site Team Member– These team members are on site from Wednesday, November 6th through Sunday, November 10th. Mandatory training will be October 12th for ALL on-site team (in-person or via zoom). If you have never served with us before, you will also need to complete New Team Training on September 14th (in-person or via zoom).

Kitchen Support– Kitchen Support will be on site from Wednesday, November 6th through Sunday, November 10th.  Job duties will be in the kitchen for prep and clean up as well as helping to serve the meals. While Kitchen Support will be in the large group sessions in between mealtimes, limited or no ministry time will be assigned. Mandatory training will be October 12th for ALL on-site team. If you have never served with us before, you will also need to complete New Team Training on September 14th (in-person or via zoom).

Saturday Support– Saturday Support team will arrive on-site Saturday, November 9th at 9am. They will remain at the retreat until approximately 8pm. They will be assigned various roles that may include ministry teams and kitchen assignments. Mandatory training will be October 12th for ALL on-site team. If you have never served with us before, you will also need to complete New Team Training on September 14th.

Set-up Team– Expectation is that you will arrive to the retreat facility by 9am on Thursday, November 7th. You will be assigned a set-up team and will stay until after lunch is served to the team. There is no training required.

Clean-up Team– Expectation is that you will arrive to the retreat facility by 2pm on Sunday, November 10th. You will be assigned a clean-up team and will stay until the building is ready for departure. There is no training required.

Off-Site Intercessor– This team will be covering the retreat in prayer with the on-site team’s minister in person to the participants. You will receive invitations to attend a Zoom prayer meeting prior to the retreat and receive emails containing prayer requests and updates from the on-site intercessor team. There is no training required.

Retreat Location: the retreat will be hosted at Gracepoint Retreat Center in Kingston, TN.

    On-Site Team

    Be on site with us for the duration of the retreat. Various skills and passion needed. Roles will be assigned before the retreat. Commitment includes team training day on October 12 and New Team Members must also attend the New Team Member Training on September 14th. More details to come.

    Kitchen Support

    Saturday Support

    Arrive at the retreat site on Sat morning and support the onsite team with ministry throughout the day. Shift is typically over after dinner (8am - 8pm). If you would like to stay over on Saturday and help with Clean-up, let us know! We'd love all the help we can get!

    Set-Up Team

    Needed for November 6th and/or 7th to help with all set up for the retreat. Tasks include organizing the kitchen, assembling nametags, setting up snack areas,, gift bag assembly, and preparing the space. Husbands are invited.

    Clean-Up Team

    Needed November 10th after 2:30pm. Be a superhero for the On-site Team and help us clean up. Tasks include packing up the kitchen, boxes and totes, loading the trailer, resetting the lodge and dining hall, and clearing cottages. (2:30pm - 5:30pm) Husbands are invited.

    Off-Site Intercessor

    Intercede/pray on behalf of all aspects of the retreat such as: praying over the facilities, praying over each bed, praying over team members and participants, as needed. Job is done remotely. We ask for prayer throughout the days surrounding the retreat as well as during the retreat. Email communications will be sent to help with prayer guidance.
