” Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you.”JOSHUA 1:3
This is an opportunity for others to partner with us financially and support the movement of Hope Redefined through women and The Church.
Our goal is to link arms will 19 others at $100 per month.
The statistics for addiction to pornography is staggering. US youth groups are reporting a 100% struggle rate for their high and college students (male and female). Premarital pastors are reporting that the question to address this epidemic in premarital counseling is not “is there pornography but, how bad is it?” Josh McDowell Ministries surveyed church leaders in 2016 and reported that over 67% of Christian men struggle with pornography (of those who reported). What this tells all of us is that 67% of wives are impacted by this struggle too. 67% of families are experiencing fall out because of this addiction, struggle, wrestle. Fewer than 1/3 of of pastors feel qualified to address sexual issues in their church body. An issue that 22% of pastors are approached about almost monthly. It’s also important to note that these statistics are from 2016. The men who are of marrying age today have never lived without a smartphone in their pocket. The accessibility to pornography today is instant and mostly free.
Hope Redefined is one of the few faith based ministries available to women throughout the world who partner with them on a journey that can be incredibly lonely and isolating.
We offer four areas of support to women and The Church.
- Support groups,
- One to one coaching support,
- Intensive healing retreats and
- Community outreach and equipping.
From June 2018 – November 2019 (17 months time) we have:
- completed our 501(c)3 process and become an official non profit entity
- constructed a board team of 4
- supported over 75 women in online and face to face support groups
- hosted 3 intensive healing retreats for 35 women
- completed one to one coaching with 15 women
- added 1 contract coaches to our coaching team
- extended over $2,000 in scholarships to women needing financial support to receive help
- networked with over 10 churches and 20 professional therapists
2019 has already been a year of accomplishments but we are just getting started. Here is where we anticipate extending our reach over the next 12 months.
As a ministry we feel lead to expand our support offerings for women and the church. We plan to do this through new topical support groups around things like boundaries, identity work, restoring trust with ourselves, God and others.
We plan to offer scholarships to women who are needing financial support for support groups, coaching or retreat participation in the aftermath of their discovery.
We will also be working to create material that helps equip church leadership with their staff and small group leader trainings. We will be creating material that will help answer questions like “how do we love a couple facing betrayal?” “what are the do’s and don’ts of walking with a wounded marriage”.
We will host 2 intensive healing retreats for 24 participants this year that will offer them the space and time to seek the Lord for the healing that only He can do.
We hope to purchase a small box trailer to help with transporting all of the needs for the retreats.
Will you partner with us and extend the reach of faith based support to women all over the world?
You being a part of the YESes for the year of 2020 helps us charge the hill and go after the healing that God intended for all of us. There isn’t a pillar that won’t be impacted by your financial partnership. We hope you will prayerfully consider being a part of something so much bigger than ourselves.
” Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”DEUTERONOMY 31:6-8
